Bookkeeper
Olen Living is seeking a skilled and motivated, full-time Bookkeeper for our multifamily apartment communities in Boynton Beach, FL- Quantum Lake Villas
Our Bookkeepers are smart, customer service-oriented management team members. They assist the Property Manager with the daily operation of the property. This role will help ensure the property is being operated in accordance with company policies and procedures and all local, state, and federal laws. The Bookkeeper partners with the Property Manager to maximize the property's financial performance, provides a quality living environment for residents, promotes a positive working environment for all employees,
  • Post daily deposits to resident or income ledgers.
  • Bill all applicable late and NSF fees to the resident ledgers.
  • Prepare weekly delinquency report starting on the 6th of every month, documenting weekly follow-up on outstanding balances in resident management software.
  • Prepare and send the following:
  • Pay or Quit worksheets as required for the eviction process which is completed by the attorney service provider.
  • Notices to Pay or Vacate for hand delivery.
  • Prepare and send small balance letters.
  • Enter and audit new and renewal leases, including month-to-month tenancies, in the resident management software.
  • Enter Notices to Vacate in the resident management software.
  • Process, submit for review and approval, and send resident move-out statements within the time allowed by your property or region, filing all relevant move-out documents in SharePoint.
  • Coordinate with the regional corporate office for ongoing review and auditing of resident activity and transactions in preparation for monthly posting of recurring charges and month end processing.
  • Perform tasks timely and accurately to assure the daily, weekly and monthly reports represent a reliable and accurate reference source.
  • When necessary, assist with office/leasing support (answering phones, welcoming prospects/residents, etc.).
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by Property Manager, A/R Manager and/or Corporate office personnel.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, including adding, subtracting and fractions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint, along with various property management and accounting software products.
  • If needed, must be available to work weekends on a rotating schedule
