Position Title: F&B Intern

Location: Chateau Marmont

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and professional Hotel Intern to support daily operations at our boutique hotel. This internship offers hands-on experience in hospitality, guest services, hotel operations, and customer experience management. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the hospitality industry in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries
  • Support front desk operations, reservations, and phone communications
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist with concierge-style services, including local recommendations and transportation arrangements
  • Help maintain organized guest records and reservation systems
  • Support hotel events, promotions, and special guest experiences
  • Monitor lobby and common areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by hotel management

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus
