A book formatter’s day usually involves laying out manuscripts, formatting text and images, adjusting margins and fonts, and making sure the final file meets the publisher's or distributor’s specifications. They often collaborate closely with authors, editors, and graphic designers to resolve formatting challenges and incorporate feedback. Consistent quality checks, troubleshooting file conversion issues, and preparing files for both print and digital distribution are regular tasks.
