Job description

This is for a temporary / long project converting books into digital format.

Job duties will vary: sorting and doing inventory on books; feeding pages into scanning machines and then using computer to save digital images. Trimming the books using an electric book trimming machine.

Skills/ Work experience that work well: Attention to details, computer experience and ability to follow directions and meet production goals.

Pay : 17/hour 1st shift Pay $17.50/hr - 2nd shift

Must be able to pass a 7 year national criminal background check and a drug test.

Must be able to provide 2 forms of current identification for I-9 and E-verify purposes.

Environment: Climate Controlled

Dress Code: Casual, loose fitting and/or comfortable clothes; tennis shoes (no sandals or flip flops)

Location: 77007 (between Downtown and the Heights)

Pay Schedule: Weekly pay; pay day is Fridays
