Facilities Project Administrator

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Facilities Project Administrator to support the Facilities team in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This role receives customer requests for a diverse range of projects from needing new tables to large scale construction projects, project management skills preferred dealing with contracts, bids, scheduling, creating AutoCAD drawings, invoicing and re-prioritizing work scope daily, attending project meetings and communicating with a cross functional team as the facilities focal. A good working knowledge in AutoCAD is also preferred.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Receives, validates, and logs customer requests for facilities services such as construction, rearrangements, moves and asset acquisition through a CMMS system.
  • Monitor, and update daily building issue through the SAT.
  • Monitor and schedule PM's through CMMS system to maintain building equipment.
  • Meets with customers, evaluates requests, provides tactical plans, defines requirements and identifies design options.
  • Obtains formal facilities designs, coordinates with affected parties and creates work packages that provide documentation and cost relative to project implementation.
  • Ensures compliance with Boeing and regulatory standards.
  • Administers contractor activities and evaluates contractor proposals to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Monitors and coordinates project implementation activities to ensure cost, schedule and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Coordinates support functions and verifies compliance with project documents.
  • Follows standard operating procedure for completion and retention of closure documentation and creation of an audit trail.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience in Facilities Project Management or Construction Management
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team
  • 1+ years of experience working with suppliers or vendors

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3 OR 4 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience using a CMMS system such as Maximo to create work orders and assign work to onsite contractors and oversee until completion

Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
