Job description

Boeing Global Services Experienced Government and Capital Property Specialist

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Government and Capital Property Specialist to conduct onsite and virtual Property Management assessments and data analytics across the BGS Global Storage Facilities that have Government Property in their possession to detect data inconsistencies or data noncompliance's to Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements. In addition to conducting assessments, assists with development of policies and procedures associated with program property management processes for company or government property and acts as key focal for interacting with contracting organizations and customers on complex issues related to current property system status. Provides expertise to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to ensure accountability for property from initial acquisition to final disposition. Develops procedures and guidelines associated with establishing acquisition processes, property records, property movement, physical inventory, maintenance processes, property utilization and consumption and disposition and contract closeout for company or government property. Leads the development and implementation of tools, processes, and procedures. Develops and delivers training and provides guidance to less experienced employees. Will act as key focal for BGS Global Warehousing projects as they relate to Property Management. Position is located in Atlanta, GA

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite and virtual Property Management assessments/data analytics at the BGS Global Services Atlanta/Ft Gillem Storage Facility site to detect data inconsistencies or data noncompliance's to Government FAR requirements

  • Support the management of property at the Boeing Global Services Atlanta/Ft Gillem Storage Facility to ensure compliance to Government and Boeing regulations

  • In addition to conducting assessments, assists with development of policies associated with program property management processes for company or government property and acts as key focal for interacting with contracting organizations and customers on complex issues related to current property system status

  • Provides expertise to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to ensure accountability for property from initial acquisition to final disposition.

  • Develops procedures and guidelines associated with establishing acquisition processes, property records, property movement, physical inventory, maintenance processes, property utilization and consumption and disposition and contract closeout for company or government property

  • Leads the development and implementation of tools, processes, and procedures.

  • Develops and delivers training and provides guidance to less experienced employees

  • Will act as key focal for various BGS projects as they relate to Property Management

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 1+ years of auditing government property management requirements and compliance experience

  • 3+ years of experience in managing Government or Capital Property

  • Experience with the Goldesp system

  • 3+ years of experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS Property Management compliance

  • 3+ years of experience with government contracts

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • A certification issued by the National Property Management Association (NPMA)

  • Solid background mentoring fellow teammates and coworkers.

  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

  • Solid background in team collaboration.

  • Applicants must have great oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience with data analytics and report automation
