Bay Area Circuits has been serving the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing needs of high-tech electronics manufacturers, contract assemblers, and design engineers for over 45 years. By focusing on quick-turn prototyping and production while leveraging innovative, high-quality designs, Bay Area Circuits has become a premier PCB supplier for discerning customers around the world.

We are currently seeking multiple Drilling Operators for our Fremont, CA location. Both Full-time and Part-time positions are available, Monday through Friday, on the Swing and Weekend shifts. We provide competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance, along with 401k and Paid Time Off programs (Full-time only).

Job Title: Drilling Operator

Summary: Performs all duties related the mechanical drilling of products by performing the following duties:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • 1. Operate mechanical drilling equipment, following provided documentation, work instructions and safety procedures.
  • 2. Review and understand process travelers, customer specifications and tolerances specified on travelers or fabrication drawings.
  • 3. Perform visual and mechanical inspection verification of quality and accuracy.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of one-year related experience and/or training

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence

Ability to lift 40 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Familiarity with Excellon printed circuit board drilling equipment preferred

Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
