About the Role

We are seeking a Mixing Operator II to join our team at our Van Nuys, CA bakery. As a Mixing Operator II, you will be accountable for accurately preparing and mixing ingredients according to recipe specifications, ensuring dough meets required texture and temperature characteristics. This role is essential to maintaining safe, efficient, and highquality dough production that supports downstream processing on the Rheon Line.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 3rd
  • Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
  • Weekend availability: Required

 

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $20.75 - $22.50

 

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipe specifications to ensure dough quality and consistency
  • Monitor dough temperature, texture, and mix development throughout the mixing process
  • Maintain accurate ingredient inventory and incorporate rework according to specifications
  • Support efficient Rheon Line operations by controlling dough flow and batch output
  • Document mixing data accurately and on time, including SAP entries
  • Maintain clean, organized mixing equipment, coolers, and ingredient storage areas
  • Uphold foodsafety, HACCP, allergen, and GMP standards while reporting concerns promptly

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing role
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to follow recipes, read measurements, and verify process controls
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in temperaturecontrolled environments
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow verbal/written instructions

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Experience in mixing, dough handling, or foodmanufacturing operations
  • Familiarity with SAP or production data entry systems
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Understanding of dough development and bakery processing equipment
