Single Knife Log Slitter Operator - Warehouse Support
Brea, CA | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Custom Fabricating & Supplies (CFS) is growing, and we're looking for a dependable Single Knife Log Slitter Operator to join our team in Brea, CA. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with steady hours and a strong team culture.
This position primarily operates slitting equipment, and during machine downtime, you'll assist with warehouse/Shipping & Receiving duties to help keep operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Machine Operation (Primary)
  • Set up and operate single knife log slitter machinery safely and efficiently
  • Read job tickets and setup instructions
  • Verify materials before processing
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Complete production paperwork and basic data entry
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Use measuring tools such as rulers and calipers

Warehouse Duties (During Downtime)
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Pick, pack, and process customer orders
  • Verify shipment quantities against packing slips and work orders
  • Move materials using pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills (including fractions and decimals)
  • Basic computer skills
