BSN Sports, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a DTF Specialist, this role is responsible for the heat transfers of names, logos, and numbers on a variety of apparel. The Specialist responds to work orders, set up, operates, troubleshoots equipment, and performs direct physical activity to complete the order in a timely manner while meeting the customer's quality specifications.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes, and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.
  • Know or learn how to manually print designs and numbers.
  • Clean, lubricate and maintain the press machine making minor adjustments as needed to correct any issues.
  • The press operator ensures that their press is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
  • Maintains the press and work area during their shift and before shift end, including disposing all trash and plastic bags, cleaning ink spills, clean all used screens and squeegees by scrapping off excess ink and placing in the proper area.
  • Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.
  • Learn tasks quickly, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES
  • Direct physical activity is required to maintain productivity levels while meeting the highest of quality specifications.
  • Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating.
  • Learn tasks quickly, detailed, accurately driven, a team player and on time with attendance.
  • Candidates are required to differentiate and coordinate colors.
  • Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.
  • An eye for accuracy to catch irregularities ensuring that we only send out the best product.
  • A reliable team member that employees can count on every day to be punctual.
  • Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
  • Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
  • HS Diploma or GED (required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
