Job description

BMW of the Main Line, Philadelphia's BMW Dealer is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for any automotive professional who is passionate about customer service. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership or tire store setting
  • Passion to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with automotive software - CDK a plus
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening including driving, drug and background

Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with all customers and expand your personal “book of business”
  • Assist and advise customer with all automotive service needs
  • Handle all incoming calls in a professional manner
  • Set, manage and deliver on customer expectations
  • Maintain accurate and timely communication during service visit
  • Create, monitor and complete quality work orders and invoices
  • Provide clear estimates of work required and recommended
  • Initiate and manage extended warranty and insurance claims
  • Ensure legal and warranty compliance on all documents and processes
  • Produce clear invoices with complete explanations of work performed or declined
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented relationship with technicians and parts personnel
  • Assist all dealer personnel as required to foster positive outcomes for customers and coworkers
  • Complete and all required factory and company training
