Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Helix ITSM Migration Specialist to join our team for a critical BMC Remedy Helix Migration Project. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Helix ITSM application development and migration, automation, orchestration, and data management. Experience in upgrading and migrating BMC Remedy applications from on-premise to cloud environments is essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support Helix ITSM migrations from on-premise environments to the cloud (version 21.03 or later).

  • Develop and configure Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms and manage Helm charts.

  • Automate deployment and operational tasks using Jenkins (Groovy scripting) and Ansible.

  • Write and maintain shell scripts on Linux systems.

  • Perform database development and administration using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including creating jobs and stored procedures.

  • Design, develop, and maintain AR System and ITSM application components including CMDB and Foundation data structures.

  • Provide Helix ITSM application support and administration.

  • Migrate data using Helix Data Manager (HDM) and manage data loading processes.

  • Analyze application and system logs using AR Log Analyzer and troubleshoot performance or functional issues.

  • Create dashboards and queries using Helix Dashboards (Grafana-based).

  • Utilize tools like Splunk and Kafka to monitor, query, and troubleshoot data flows.


Required Skills:

Orchestration & Platform:

  • Kubernetes (Hands-on development and troubleshooting)
