Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") is an investment research platform of 475 investment professionals covering company and credit research at the single-name and strategy level, while also addressing litigation, regulatory and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues that will shape companies, industries and markets. BI research is a combination of written analysis accompanied by interactive charting and analytics from a team of independent experts that provide deep insight into where crucial industries and investment market trends stand today and where they may be heading next.
As a member of our Therapeutics team, you'll be responsible for building detailed patent databases related to drugs and biologics. You will work with our patent and litigation analysts to contribute market exclusivity analysis for our disease hubs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate degree in chemistry or combination of commensurate education and experience
- USPTO Registration and patent agent/attorney experience
- Experience in comprehensive, worldwide patent searching
- Experience in chemical patent prosecution
- Understanding of scientific and clinical data
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration
- Proficiency in Excel
- Good writing skills
- Strong organization skills and capable of balancing multiple projects
- A dedication to developing and improving products
- An ability to meet deadlines, logically address problems and set priorities
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of the biotech industry and regulatory environment in the US, Europe, Japan and/or China
- Understanding of financial markets and concepts
- Experience with Python, R, or SQL

Salary Range = 95 - 110 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
