About Black Ops Productions

Black Ops Productions is a full-service creative production company specializing in large-scale environments, experiential builds, signage, and custom fabrication. We manage projects from concept through execution, blending design, print, and physical production to deliver high-impact, real-world work.

Weโ€™re seeking a Graphic Designer who is comfortable owning designs all the way through productionโ€”someone who understands how to collaborate with clients, manage artwork workflows, and prepare files for both print and CNC fabrication.

About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of design, production, and client collaboration. Youโ€™ll design for large-format print, create reusable templates, prepare CNC-ready files using VCarve, and manage the trafficking of artwork from concept to final delivery. Youโ€™ll also interface directly with clients to review assets, manage revisions, and ensure expectations are met.

Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare files for large-scale and large-format print (signage, banners, wraps, displays, environmental graphics)
  • Create and maintain scalable templates and modular design systems
  • Develop custom design elements including icons, patterns, illustrations, and dimensional graphics
  • Prepare and optimize CNC-ready files for routing and fabrication, including setup for VCarve
  • Manage artwork trafficking, including file organization, versioning, approvals, and final delivery
  • Interface directly with clients to review designs, gather feedback, and manage revisions
  • Ensure all artwork meets production specs (bleeds, trims, color profiles, resolutions, materials)
  • Collaborate with internal creative, production, and fabrication teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy
  • Adapt designs across multiple sizes, formats, and materials
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
  • Maintain brand consistency and high production standards across all deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
  • Proven experience with large-scale print production
  • Hands-on experience creating CNC machine files
  • Working knowledge of VCarve for CNC routing and fabrication
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with artwork trafficking and file management
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of print processes, materials, and prepress
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with environmental, experiential, or event-based graphics
  • Familiarity with CNC materials (acrylic, wood, metal, PVC, composites)
  • Experience working alongside fabrication or installation teams
  • Motion graphics, illustration, or 3D experience is a plus
  • Ability to use AI and 3D software to generate renderings a HUGE plus.

What We Offer

  • Work on high-impact, large-scale physical builds and installations
  • Collaborative, hands-on creative and production environment
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Opportunities for growth within a multidisciplinary team
  • Unlimited PTO Package

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and portfolio, including examples of large-format print, CNC/fabrication work, and client-facing projects.
