In the assigned Job Role of Technology Associate, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
• Assist in coding and refinement of basic code structures in line with internal guidelines, to meet project's technical specifications
• Assist in execution of test cases based on guidance and test plans, to meet functional requirements
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, to enhance system reliability

Required Skill and Experience
Technical Expertise:
• Experience with Hands and feed support for Data Center operations.
• Candidate must be available to work on a rotating shift schedule to provide support at Datacenter.
Shift 1 06:00-15:00 PST
Shift 2 14:00-23:00 PST
Shift 3 22:00-07:00 PST
New Installations of IT devices:
• Rack and stack of IT devices.
• Configure ILO / IDRAC on servers / network gear. Ping tests of all ILO connections.
• Certifications on Data center operations and cabling
• Install trunks and patch cords, panels and power cables as required to support additional capacity.
• Perform all, IT audits, annual DC track and Tape audits.
• Vendor access approval for break fix activity and facility repairs
• Provide on call support and emergency onsite coverage (may be extended time frame).
Break / Fix repairs:
• Attend crises calls for troubleshooting cables and /or hardware issues.
• Troubleshooting, isolating and repairing of all cables (SM, MM and copper).
• Participate and execute assigned change requests.
• Removal and installation of parts from inside of IT hardware to include but not limited to:
• NIC's • SFP's • Memory • Hard Drives
Decommissions and Cabling:
• The removal of all patch cords from end to end of the cable path, to include both ends of patch panel connections.
• Remove old hardware from equipment racks and prepare for disposal per the decommissioning process.
• Removable media (disk) disposal tracking and destruction
• Blancco wipe process procedures, Shredding, ADR/ERI tracking and coordination.
Entries into Hardware Receiving System:
• Package pickup and delivery to include large shipments on the loading docks or mailrooms.
• Coordinate / prepare for shipment and transfer of equipment to other locations
• Move (Lift and shift) hardware to the appropriate storage locations after HRS updated.
• RMA all parts as required including tracking of those parts using HRS tool.
• Hardware shipment receiving / tracking of all IT devices, and parts
• Large assets are tracked in both HRS and DC Tracks.
Preferred Skill and Experience
Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's Datacenter operations environment.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls, messages, emails and/or work orders regarding datacenter operations problems.
• Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with project guidelines.
• Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to technical teams, business stakeholders.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Good Communication and Analytical skills.
Additional Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
