What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Terraform engineer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Terraform Engineer, a strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC), cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), and proficiency with Terraform scripting is essential, often supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and relevant certifications such as HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate are highly valued.
