We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist who will assist customer service with data entry tasks in SalesForce and SAP.  This position is a temporary position.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be able to recognize a Customer Purchase Orders and additional documentation
  • Enter details into SalesForce or SAP
  • Assist with Date management and Item Availability confirmations.
  • Able to learn a task quickly and perform it.
  • Communicate clearly  and concisely with Customer Support Representatives and Manager.
  • Be able to email other departments in the company if asked to do so.
  • Compliance and support
  • Enter details into the system to setup an RMA for customer returns
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • One year customer support, inside sales or contract administration work experience preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred or business to business.
  • Previous experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software preferred, SalesForce, SAP.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and possesses a desire to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency, accuracy, flexibility.
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once.
  • Ability to work on a wide variety of tasks with little or no supervision.
  • Able to foster strong relationships and communicate effectively in person, via the telephone and electronically. 
  • Strong Microsoft Suite Skills preferred; Salesforce or SAP experience preferred.

Pay range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

This facility specialises in the manufacturing of ultra-precision optical components, optical thin film coatings and optical sub-assemblies for demanding applications in lasers, materials processing, instrumentation, life sciences, avionics, and defence.

This site offers capabilities that include substantial design and engineering resources, comprehensive optical fabrication and coating capabilities, advanced assembly technology and an extensive in-house metrology lab.
