Job Title: Bingo Attendants (Caller and Floor)

Job Summary: Performs caller’s or floor’s job functions within the Bingo Department at varying times as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. Responsible for calling the games, operates equipment that randomly selects the numbers for bingo. Making sure each game runs smoothly and on time. Conducts sales of specials to bingo players during sessions. Responsible for the accurate handling of cash and sales. Monitors the bingo floor, payout the winners, and assists bingo players by providing information and instructions.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Repot to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.

2. Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and team member respect.

3. Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.

4. Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.

5. Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.

6. Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and team members.

7. Call out bingo numbers and verify winners.

8. Records all winning games on Bingo Callers Record forms.

9. Remove randomly selected number from Bingo mechanical device.

10. Place the bingo balls called on rack.

11. Keeps guests informed on upcoming special events.

12. Sells game sheets to guests.

13. Verifies bingos and pays cash to winners.

14. Accurately handle cash sales and inventory.

Supplemental Job Duties

1. Inspect bingo balls daily.

2. Clean bingo balls on a weekly basis.

3. Attends all required meetings and training sessions.

4. Performs other job duties as assigned.

Bingo Attendant’s Daily Operating Procedures:

The Bingo Attendant will abide by the daily operating procedures as required for specific job duty being performed while on duty. (See specifics for each job performance).

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: May be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke-filled environment. Some lifting up to 15 pounds may be required. Significant use of hands, arms, finger and wrists is required. Frequent periods of standing and walking will be required. Must be confidential and trustworthy

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Knowledge/Education/Work Experiences: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have prior work experience with positions requiring mathematical ap-titude, cash handling, excellent guest service skills and sales. Requires good knowledge of com-puters and software applications. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.

Skills/Abilities: Must be able to work directly with the public and ability to work with a diverse group of people. Must be dependable, responsible, reliable, courteous, friendly, and professional. Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team. Must have good organizational and computer skills. Must be flexible with work shifts and days off. Must be able to han-dle busy and stressful situations. Must be able to meet all internal training and education require-ments.

Preference: Members of the Meskwaki Nation and other Native American Tribes who are qualified ap-plicants are encouraged to apply and will be given preference in accordance with established procedures.

Restrictions: This position is PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for team member tournaments. Otherwise, this position is PROHIBITED from playing bingo while on duty. Team members and members of the household are prohibited from entering company contests and giveaways established for our guests.
