Job Summary
Performs general office duties within the Bingo Department, providing administrative and clerical support to all areas of Bingo operations.
Job Duties / Tasks / Results / Responsibilities
Support all areas within Bingo operations
Be knowledgeable of all bingo games, specials, and promotions
Verify winning cards, calculate prize amounts, and distribute funds to winning customers
Perform cash and credit card transactions
Provide customer service to all Bingo players
Attend required training related to gaming operations and regulatory requirements
Perform all functions in accordance with applicable Tribal, Federal, and other relevant laws, rules, and gaming regulations
Remain current on all rules and regulations to ensure compliance
All staff members are expected to adhere to the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida Merit System Policies and to work collaboratively while supporting all teams they interact with to achieve the Enterprise's objectives
Perform any other duties as required, consistent with the position, department, and organization
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic mathematical skills
Maintain compliance with Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS)
Cash handling and credit card transaction experience preferred
Basic knowledge of proper office procedures
Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred
Be courteous and demonstrate genuine care for all coworkers and guests
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficient in the English language
A second language is an asset
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Excellent guest service and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality
Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
Willingness to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts
Meet or exceed customer expectations and respond to all related inquiries
Ability to effectively handle workplace issues, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving problems as necessary
Physical Demands / Requirements
Most of the time is spent standing or walking; there may also be requirements to lift moderate weight (10-20 pounds)
Work Environment / Conditions
Typically located in a comfortable area. There may be regular exposure to mild discomfort from factors such as dust, odors, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, noise, or lighting

The Resort and Gaming operations function seven days a week, 24 hours a day. It may be necessary to reschedule shifts according to business volume, and you must be willing and available to meet these demands.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member will regularly be required to walk, stand, and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and maintain balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently use hands and arms to carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high noise levels. The team member may also come into contact with noxious and abrasive chemicals that must be handled properly to ensure the safety of the team member and others.
Schedule varies by operational needs
