Field Representative II, Cross Functional
$20.00 - $29.50 per hour
Position Profile
The Field Representative II, Cross Functional, supports the daily operations of one or more Managed Services (MS) locations. Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:
- Copy production and finishing services
- Mail center operations
- Reception services
- Audio-visual support
- Administrative support
- Billing logs and reporting
This position supports regional MS logs and reports, assists with service implementations, provides coverage for absences and vacations across Ricoh locations, and supports the startup of new customer accounts. The role is responsible for supporting operational objectives at existing customer sites within a designated geographic territory.
This position reports directly to the Site Manager, Operations Manager, or Integrated Account Manager (IAM), depending on the marketplace structure.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Operational Support
- Assist with the implementation of new Managed Services (MS) sites.
- Support the Site Manager or Supervisor by identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Assist in training new and existing employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Site Procedure Guides, forms, logs, and site branding materials.
- Collect data and support preparation of Monthly Management Reports.
- Order paper, toner, and other operational supplies as directed by site leadership.
Bindery Operations
- Operate and maintain bindery equipment, including:
- Paper cutters
- Folding equipment
- Stitching and binding equipment
- Fulfillment equipment
- Manage bindery production schedules and equipment maintenance.
- Assist with manual fulfillment tasks as needed.
Mailroom Operations
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Perform mail fulfillment functions, including:
- Sorting
- Filing
- Packaging
- Preparing shipments for delivery to multiple locations
- File and label documents and materials for storage and retrieval.
- Handle shipping and receiving activities, including moving boxes and equipment.
- Provide courier services for mail and copy job pickup and delivery on-campus and off-site.
Copy Center Support
- Assist with copy center operations and completion of copy requests.
- Operate finishing equipment such as:
- Binding machines
- Folding equipment
- Laminators
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment used within the Ricoh Center.
- Coordinate work assignments to meet deadlines and service level expectations.
Leadership and Coverage Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the Ricoh Center in the absence of the Site Manager or Supervisor.
- Lead or facilitate daily team huddles when site leadership is unavailable.
- For single-person sites, attend daily huddles via conference call.
- Perform front desk receptionist duties as required.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications) Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 6 to 12 months of related work experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Minimum auto insurance coverage in accordance with Ricoh policy.
- Experience operating:
- Shrink-wrap equipment
- Paper cutters
- Hole drills
- Bindery equipment
- Joggers
- Tape machines
- Electric staplers
- Scales
- Collators and related equipment
- Experience using postage meters and mailroom equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot mailroom equipment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
- Primarily works in an office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise levels.
- Work assignments vary and require the ability to:
- Interpret and apply complex information and instructions.
- Analyze data and documentation.
- Prepare and communicate information effectively.
- Physical requirements may include:
- Standing for extended periods.
- Walking, bending, reaching, stretching, and climbing.
- Lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Pushing or pulling wheeled equipment weighing up to 400 pounds for maintenance or relocation purposes.
- Walking between buildings and customer locations.
- Requires moderate manual dexterity, including:
- Calculator use
- Keyboarding
- Hand tools
- Eye-hand coordination
