Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bindery Operator to join our team in Carlstadt, NJ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the finishing process of printed materials, ensuring every piece meets our high-quality standards. Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, stitchers, and related machinery
  • Perform folding and finishing tasks to meet production specifications
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on bindery equipment
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or bindery operations is a plus
  • Previous experience in a bindery or printing environment preferred
  • Experience operating a wide range of bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting pay up to $28.00/hour for candidates with full bindery experience and minimal training required
  • $2.00/hour increase after 6 months based on performance
  • Biannual bonuses based on performance and attendance (Summer & Christmas)
