Bindery Operator: We are seeking bindery operators with a strong background in a commercial printing bindery environment. Additionally, experience in inkjet mailing and mail-house operations is a plus for candidates, but not mandatory. Become a member of a group that has been a pillar of the commercial printing industry in Florida for the past 61 years.
Job Responsibilities: We are committed to providing our team with the necessary resources for success. Bindery responsibilities include:
• MBO Large-Format Folding: Operating and managing full-size 30" MBO folding equipment with integrated stacking, automated counting, and paper banding capabilities.
• Saddle-Stitch: Proficiently setting up and managing 8-pocket saddle-stitch binding machinery to meet stringent quality standards.
• Polar Cutters: Experience as a cutter operator is advantageous, though not essential.
• Kirk Rudy Mailing Line: Mail capabilities that include advanced feeder configurations, multiple tabbing possibilities, and stacking and bundling automation.
• Equipment Repairs: Capability to execute minor equipment repairs as necessary during operations.
• Job Order Review: Review job orders electronically and prioritize assignments. Document job information in the shop floor computer system during production.
• Physical Requirements: Capability to lift and transport over 75 pounds.
• Mechanical Acumen: You not only operate the machines; you understand the configuration, modifications, and intricacies of bindery equipment.
• Quality Orientation: You possess a keen attention to detail and a commitment to executing tasks correctly on the first attempt.
