Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Assistant to join our team. The Billing Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, handling billing inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely billing of our clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Prior experience in billing, accounting, or finance is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with billing software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently
- Respond to billing inquiries from clients and internal staff
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Maintain billing records and documentation in an organized manner
