Job description

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Billing Clerk. The purpose of the Billing Clerk is toprocess car deals by verifying completeness of documentation.

Job Responsibilitiesย 

  • Verifies data, completes state forms, makes disbursement for taxes and fees, and submits to the state
  • Processes new car andย Pre-Owned registrations on dealerโ€™s software systemย 
  • Processesย Pre-Owned vehicle title transfersย 
  • Prepares and distributes title envelopesย 
  • Maintains follow-up on all incoming titlesย 
  • Maintains and reconciles schedules for tax, title and license payable and lien payoffsย 
  • Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and
  • communicating issues to the Accounting Manager ย 
  • Maintains error logsย 
  • Processes payoffs on trade-ins and floor plan, pulls contracts, and forwards to financial institutionsย 
  • Verifies Finance and Insurance (F&I) data to documentsย 
  • Reconciles inventory schedules as assigned on a weekly and monthly basisย 
  • Processes rebatesย 
  • Attends weekly department meetings
