Position Summary

The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining operational continuity globally and client safety during overnight hours. This position supports executive protection missions and international client movements by overseeing secure journey management, real-time monitoring, and emergency coordination.
Acting as the central node between global field teams, protective agents, and local partners, the operations coordinator ensures that all travel-related operations proceed safely and according to plan. The role also includes preparing for and responding to emergencies, providing accurate reporting, and supporting the broader strategic risk posture of the client.
Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate real-time movements of domestic and international clients, executive protection teams, and assets. 
  • Track GPS and security dashboards to maintain situational awareness, ensuring safe arrival/departure at key locations.
  • Provide direct communication and oversight to protection personnel, drivers, and local response partners across multiple time zones.
  • Execute and support emergency protocols for incidents such as medical emergencies, security breaches, natural disasters, or travel disruptions.
  • Document all activity in operational platforms, ensuring thorough handovers between shifts and transparent records for audit and debriefing.
  • Collaborate with internal intelligence analysts to identify and act on travel risks or geopolitical developments affecting clients.
  • Conduct end-of-shift reporting and contribute to continuous updates of journey management and emergency planning SOPs.
  • Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and consular contacts when required to ensure client support and continuity.
Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of executive protection principles, international travel security, and incident management.
  • Ability to operate independently during night shifts with minimal supervision, making high-quality decisions in fast-moving situations.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written) and high attention to detail for real-time logging, incident escalation, and reporting. 
  • Skilled with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with international security challenges, particularly in high-risk or emerging markets.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in English. 
  • Background in executive protection, military, law enforcement, or international security consulting.
 
Preferred Qualifications

·        3 years of experience in a security operations center (SOC), protective services support, or journey management role.
  • Experience coordinating remote operations or international logistics.
  • Multilingual abilities or regional experience (e.g., Latin America).
  • Emergency medical or first aid certification.
  • ASIS certification or equivalent training in physical security or operations management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in security management or related fields 
  • Proficiency in GPS tracking systems, journey risk management software, and incident logging platforms.
  • Analytical background in security and risk.

Working Environment

  • Position works a varied shift; must be available to work independently during 1st 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends. (shift differential paid for 3rd shift).
