Job Description & Expectations

  • Be a self starter on a team of highly qualified and knowledgable employees and consultants who have years of SAP BOBJ experience and partner with current team members in the move from BOBJ version 3.1 to BI 4.0.
  • Utilize experience in integrating, designing, building, migrating and converting BOBJ 3.1 Xcelsius Dashboards into new SAP Dashboards in the BI 4.0  environment.
  • SAP BOE BI 4.0 is used, with report design tools Crystal Reports BI 4.0, WEBI, Business Objects Dashboard Design (Xcelsius) BI 4.0 and connections to various Universes.
  • Provide critical information to the development staff on the differences between XI3.1 Universes and BI 4.0 Universes.
  • Participate in and help lead Best Practices and Development Standards for building new and converting old Dashboards for the BI 4.0 Environment.
  • Utilize experience in BI 4.0 to actively help the team avoid pitfalls and common mistakes.
  • Work with the BI team, analysts, architects and management toward the design and development of optimal solutions in the BI 4.0 enviornment.

Required Skills

  • SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0
  • Dashboard design and creation using Xcelsius.
  • Universe design and creation using Information Design Tool (IDT)

Required Experience

  • At least 1 year experience with SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0
  • At least 1 year experience with Xcelsius 2008 for Enterprise BOBJ 3.1
  • At least 1 year experience with SAP Dashboards for Enterprise BI 4.0

 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Universe design and creation using the Universe Design Tool (UDT)
  • Universe design and creation using Information Design Tool (IDT)
  • Migrating Universes from the BOBJ XI3.1 environment to the BI 4.0
  • Any other BI 4.0 Administrative or Configuration Experience
  • WEBI 4.0 experience.
  • Extensive experience in previous versions of SAP Business Objects Enterprise, WEBI, Universes, Xcelsius (version BOBJ XI3.1 experience preferred)
