In this role, you'll build and improve dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that bring together information from multiple sources and make it easier for stakeholders to track trends, monitor performance, and act quickly.

You'll work closely with business and technical teams to understand reporting needs, translate them into intuitive dashboards, and continuously enhance solutions as priorities evolve.

Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and improve interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support business operations and decision-making.
  • Create visualizations using drill-downs, interactive filters, and custom visuals to make data easier to explore and understand.
  • Connect, transform, and model data from multiple sources using SQL, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Dataflows.
  • Help streamline reporting by improving how data is collected, integrated, and presented.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand what information matters most and turn those needs into clear, useful reporting solutions.
  • Support Power BI administration, including configuration, security settings, and user access management.
  • Update and optimize reports over time based on feedback, changing business needs, and new data sources.
  • Use storytelling and visualization best practices to present insights in a way that is meaningful to leadership and end users.
  • Enable intuitive data exploration using Power BI's dashboard and Q&A capabilities.
  • Provide user support, documentation, and training to help others get the most out of reporting tools and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Requires DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
  • DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Strong skills in DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and SQL.
  • Ability to work with multiple data sources and turn raw data into actionable insights.
  • Experience improving report usability, performance, and relevance over time.
  • Comfort partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and present data in a way that supports decision-making.
  • A user-focused mindset with the ability to explain reporting solutions clearly and provide training or support when needed.
