Union Beer Distributors is currently seeking an entry-level Off-Premise Sales Representatives to join our team. As a representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to sell, promote, and contribute to the growth of our expansive portfolio in the fast-paced, highly competitive, and demanding market of New York City. Join us in the world's most fast-paced, vibrant, and demanding market, where you can make an impact and grow your career.
Domestic Craft Beer will be your main focus along with a multitude of microbrew beers from around the world. Hired candidates will be responsible for forming relationships with our existing Off-Premise accounts, developing relationships with new Off-Premise accounts, and leveraging those relationships to increase sales and distribution of our products throughout the assigned geography. This position will cover the territory of Brooklyn.

Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $60,700 per year.
What you will be doing:
  • Establish and maintain a regular weekly schedule of account appointments within the assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote the goodwill of the company
  • Represent our world-class brands in the market
  • Grow brand presence within our existing bar, restaurant, and hospitality account base
  • Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS
  • Effective accounts receivable collections according to State Law
  • Develop new accounts and new distribution
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other questions as they arise
  • Execute monthly and quarterly goals as related to business activities
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed:
  • Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Certified Beer Server
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance
  • Must have access to personal vehicle
  • Ability and willingness to work independently
