As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will:

  • Assist the Senior F&B Manager to manage all food and beverage and banquet operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Achieve profitability through managing, labor, food costs
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
  • Position will oversee banquet execution from setup through breakdown as well as supporting and overseeing theย bar/restaurant operations
  • Assist with inventory and ordering (food, beverage and supplies)
  • Help lead and train F&B team
  • Step into the kitchen to cook as needed
  • Must be flexibleย to move between leadership, banquets, bar service and kitchen coverage based on business needs.
  • Identify customersโ€™ needs and respond proactively to all their concerns.
  • Attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented food and beverageย personnelย 
  • Establish goals, make schedules, and enforce policies and procedures
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and report sales and guest satisfaction results.

As Food & Beverage Manager, in this role, you must:

  • Have at least 2 yearโ€™s previous experience with overseeing banquets, restaurant kitchen, bar.
  • Must have culinary experience.
  • Must have ability to drive results and achieve desired performance outcomes.
  • You need a professional demeanor, a warm and welcoming personality, and must be able to engage easily and actively connect with others.ย 
  • Be genuinely caring and compassionate and visibly demonstrate desire to understand others.ย 
  • Have natural instincts and insight for finding the best solution to unclear situations, issues, and problems.
  • Create confidence and trust, while communicating the right message at the right time.ย 
  • Be comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.ย 
  • Be direct yet tactful and considerate of the audience. Speak with others using clear and professional language, being direct, yet tactful.ย 
  • Must be available on days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Clean professional appearance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager.
  • F&B management experience required.

Additional Requirements:ย 

The Food & Beverage Manager role requires standing and walking for extended periods or all of shift. Sitting will be minimal.ย ย  Requires the ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (i.e., small print, computer).ย  Grasp, turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.ย  Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 35 pounds without assistance.ย
