As a Verizon Wireless Business Solutions Advisor for Your Wireless, you will be:
Introducing small and medium business customers to the latest high tech 5G products and services that solve their unique business needs. You will interact with our small and medium business customers in the retail store, digitally, and through outbound prospecting. You’ll demonstrate the value of our products and services by introducing end to end technology solutions to energize their businesses. Driving small business results, you’ll generate new business through prospecting, networking and working leads and referrals.
• Prospecting new SMB customers across the CT and Westchester territory – cold outreach, walk-ins, referrals, local business networking, building your own pipeline form scratch
• Partnering with store teams to grow business sales at the door – training, working the lead list, converting opportunities the stores surface
• Extending the Account Managers reach to cover more territory
• Owning your numbers, your own calendar and your own territory
What we are looking for in a Verizon Wireless Business Solutions Advisor:
A prospector. You're comfortable with cold outreach and you don't take a "no"
personally. This is the single most important trait for this role.
Self-driven. Nobody is going to build your day for you. You'll be out in the field
managing your own time and your own pipeline.
Resilient and consistent. Prospecting is a volume game before it's a skill game. The people who win here are the ones who keep dialing, keep walking in, and keep showing up in month three the way they did in week one.
A strong communicator. You can walk into a business you've never been to, get to the decision maker, and hold a real conversation about how we solve their problem.
Curious about business, not just product. The best business sellers ask better
questions than everybody else. You want to understand how a customer makes money before you talk about what we sell.
Coachable. You'll be working closely with Mike and with our Business Solutions team. The people who grow fastest are the ones who take the feedback and run with it.
Organized and follow-through driven. Pipeline discipline, clean notes, and timely follow-up. Deals die from neglect more than from objections.
A teammate. You'll be in and out of stores constantly. The reps at those doors need to want you there.
• Retail, wireless, or B2B sales experience is a plus. Existing business sales experience is a plus. Neither is a requirement — hunger and hustle matter more than a resume line.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license — this is a field role covering multiple locations.
At Your Wireless, we require our Verizon Wireless Business Solutions Advisors have the following skills and experience:
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business where you managed a team of people for performance.

• Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire the employees and people around you.
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to understand, explain, and breakdown behaviors to drive key performance metrics.
• Highly proficient with technology including cellular devices, computers, point of sale systems, Microsoft office suite.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales roles and leadership roles is required.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology and products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to our various locations in your assigned district as our business needs
dictate.
• Be self-motivated and goal oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.
