At Hotel Oceana Santa Monica, we believe exceptional service begins the moment a guest arrives. We’re looking for a dynamic, service-driven Bellman & Valet to join our front-of-house team and help deliver an elevated, seamless luxury experience from arrival through departure.

About the Role

As a Bellman & Valet, you create the first and last impression for our guests. You will provide personalized service, ensure smooth arrival and departure experiences, and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, attentive, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, detail-oriented service.

What You’ll Do
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming first impression
  • Assist with luggage handling, storage, and delivery to guest rooms
  • Escort guests to their rooms and provide a brief orientation of amenities and services
  • Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles (manual and automatic transmission)
  • Maintain accurate valet records and ensure secure handling of vehicle keys
  • Provide recommendations on local attractions, dining, and transportation options
  • Coordinate transportation requests, including taxis and rideshare services
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, lobby, and valet areas
  • Support front office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Handle all guest belongings with care, professionalism, and attention to detail
What You Bring
  • Previous hospitality, valet, or customer service experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

*New employees accrue 40 hours of vacation in the first year and earn 80 hours of paid sick leave per year. Eligible employees also receive holiday pay (if working) or paid holidays (if scheduled off) for six holidays each year.
