Data Analyst - Data & Analytics
Join Everest's Data & Analytics team as a Data Analyst, where you will play a key role in advancing the firm's enterprise data strategy.
This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, combining hands-on data analysis, data solutioning, data delivery, and stakeholder engagement to enable high-quality reporting and analytics across the organization.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with technology teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions that provide high-quality, reliable data for business use
  • Drive adoption and business value from data, analytics, and BI solutions across functions
  • Translate business needs into clear data and technology requirements
  • Collaborate across business units to standardize and optimize enterprise data assets
  • Support data governance and data quality initiatives in close partnership with Technology
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for business data inquiries
  • Perform ad hoc analysis by extracting, transforming, and modeling data from multiple sources
  • Validate and sign off on data deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards
  • Contribute to Agile delivery of data initiatives in partnership with Technology teams

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role
  • Strong understanding of core data concepts, including:
    • Data modeling (dimensional modeling)
    • ETL processes
    • Data warehousing
    • Data governance frameworks
    • Structured and unstructured data
  • Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and business glossaries
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong analytical capabilities
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across business and technology stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly insights

Nice to Have
  • Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services
  • Exposure to modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments
  • Experience supporting data governance initiatives

The base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $125,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
