Reports To: Supervisor of Fieldwork & Training and/or Supervising BCBA

Position Description:

This is a 32-hour per week salaried position, available to employees who are currently enrolled in a graduate training program in Applied Behavior Analysis. Applicants must be available for work:

  • Three days per week from 9am - 6pm
  • Two days per week for four hours total hours.
    • Unless the employee has a class scheduled, they must be available between 9am - 6pm. However, the employee will only be scheduled for a four-hour period.
    • If the employee has a class scheduled on that day the employee still must be available between 9am - 2:30pm for any four consecutive hours period requested.

Acceptance into a graduate training program is not sufficient to be eligible for this position. Past performance within performance management and working relations will be included when considering candidates.ย 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $37k per year
  • Paid vacation time when All Points is closed for holidays (approximately 10-12 days per year)

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Provide direct instructional services to clients, implementing and executing the recommendations, interventions, teaching procedures, etc. as derived and determined by each of the client's assessment under the direct supervision of the BCBA.

Responsible for instruction and safety of children as well as related clerical duties (i.e. graphing, material organization)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out the treatment and behavior plans developed by the BCBA based on initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Meet with BCBA on a regular basis to review duties and responsibilities.
  • Receive ongoing supervision from the BCBA and implement feedback and recommendations.
  • Teach clients developmentally appropriate functional skills and manage challenging behavior as determined through the client's individualized treatment and/or behavior intervention plans.
  • Work with individual client or groups of clients within the Natural Environment.
  • Responsible for daily upkeep of program materials for designated clients according to guidelines as set forth by BCBA, including but not limited to: data collection, probing, graphing, updating program book(s) and session agenda folder, replenishing daily materials needed for assigned students, organizing and cleaning assigned clients work area.
  • Provide the most appropriate and developmentally individualized learning environment for each client of the clinic.
  • Interact with parents, guardians and other professionals as needed regarding individual treatment plans and progress meeting information.
  • Protect and ensure the health and safety of every child.
  • ย Address any problem that may be occurring.
  • Assist clients with health and hygiene practices.
  • Participate in the development of reports, individual treatment plans and behavior reduction plans in coordination with BCBA.
  • Participate in staff meetings, mandatory in-service trainings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Represent yourself and the clinic in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to and maintain the integrity of the All Points Licensed Behavior Analysts' mission statement.
  • Know, understand, and continually practice the guiding principles of the clinic.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to approved company policies, procedures, and philosophies, most critically HIPAA, FERPA, and confidentiality requirements.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO PROVIDING SERVICES

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
  • Currently enrolled in an advanced degree program in behavior analysis
  • Training in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
  • CPR/BLS Certification

Additional Training

  • Completion of relevant HIPAA and OSHA trainings

Experience

  • Prior experience working with developmentally disabled individuals helpful.

Other

  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation and provide driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Must be willing to work a variable 32-hour week.
  • All new employees are subject to background checks and must be cleared before working with clients.
