Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont.)

Our clients are looking for RBA (Ont.) services in Hamilton & surrounding areas, to implement behaviour plans and programming based on ABA principles and following OAP guidelines. We are looking for RBAs with interests and experience in various populations, writing Behaviour Support Plans and Safety Plans, working with high-risk interfering behaviours, conducting functional analyses, and a working knowledge of the Ontario Autism Program.

You would be an awesome addition to our team if:

  • You have experience working within and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and are willing to share and learn from other disciplines
  • You have demonstrated skills and an interest in working with youth and pediatric populations
  • You have experience in a leadership capacity and are willing to provide mentorship and training to behaviour therapists and caregivers on program implementation
  • You love feeling in control of your clientele and schedule
  • You have a client-centred focused approach and have the ability to manage all aspects of a caseload, including, but not limited to, scheduling, billing, and managing budgets
  • You are willing to travel within the community to client homes to conduct assessments, observations, and therapy, as needed
  • You are comfortable with providing clinical supervision and training to behaviour therapist
  • You appreciate a tech-forward workplace because #efficiency

HOURS

Flexible scheduling available with individual control over booking clients/availability

RATE OF PAY

Starting at $83.94 per billable hour

Paid travel time for community visits

Requirements to succeed:

  • Registration as a Registered Behaviour Analyst ONT. with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • A clear Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
  • Proof of Professional Liability Insurance, or willingness to obtain
  • Valid CPR/First Aid Standard Level C certification
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within the last 5 years is considered an asset
  • Valid Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle with a willingness to travel within the community and to clients homes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience managing caseloads, budgeting appropriately, arranging schedules, and leading team meetings considered an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but not required
