Compensation
Stipend Amount: $ 1485.03
Purpose
To teach and direct the musical, vocal, or orchestral elements of the production, ensuring high-quality student musical performances.
Essential Functions
  • Teach vocal harmonies to the cast (Choir) or direct the pit orchestra instrumentation (Orchestra).
  • Conduct the musicians/vocalists during rehearsals and live musical performances.
  • Collaborate with the Production Director on pacing, musical integration, and sound balance.

Qualifications
  • Background in music education, vocal coaching, or instrumental conducting.
  • Ability to read complex scores and teach students of varying skill levels.

Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in school music rooms and theater environments. Requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends during show weeks.
