PCH Music Volunteer

Job Description

Primary Children's Hospital (Salt Lake) is looking for individuals to help provide a healing environment by sharing their Musical Talents with our patients, families and staff.

Depending on the instrument you will play, you will be in our Main Lobby or on the 3rd Floor lobby.

Music volunteers will be asked to play for a one hour shift once a week. A piano and a harp are available onsite. Approved string and woodwind instruments will need to be brought in/out with the volunteer for their shift each week.

Volunteers are asked to bring their own sheet music. We do have a music stand available for volunteers to use. Volunteers should be comfortable playing in public and choose music fitting for the hospital environment.

Qualifications:

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

Volunteers must be able to commit to 6 months of volunteering.

Volunteers should have public performance experience and enough music to perform for one hour at a time.
