The school combines strong academic and co-curricular programs with an emphasis on project-based learning and personal growth in a diverse and inclusive community. Instructors may draw on classical training or music choices that reflect student interests. While teaching theory and technique, our instructors emphasize the importance of fun and the student-teacher relationship. We love to welcome professional, practicing musicians to our program and can offer flexibility in regard to performances and tours.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reliably teach individual piano, guitar, drums, and/or voice lessons to students on a weekly basis (Monday to Friday, 3:00-6:00pm) on dates and times agreed upon in advance
  • Check in regularly with parents concerning student progress and any needs or recommendations you have for the child at home
  • Offer recitals as planned by the After School Music Program manager
