Client Service Associate

San Francisco, CA

BBR Partners is seeking a Client Service Associate to play a central role in delivering exceptional client and operational support. This role sits at the intersection of clients, advisors, and custodians, owning the details that keep portfolios and relationships running seamlessly.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, accountants, and custodians, resolving requests quickly and thoughtfully
  • Execute cash management activity, including wires, ACHs, and security transfers
  • Open and maintain client accounts across custodians; guide clients through required documentation
  • Support trade execution and ongoing portfolio activity with internal and external partners
  • Maintain accurate client data in portfolio/accounting systems; monitor transactions and valuations
  • Coordinate client reporting, including monthly statements and quarterly fee processing
  • Collaborate across teams to proactively solve problems and keep work moving
What You Bring
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A true client-first mindset and team-oriented approach
  • Familiarity with portfolio administration and custodial platforms
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth or institutional clients preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, CRM tools, and money movement processes
  • Exposure to portfolio systems (e.g., Advent APX) a plus

Base salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple reasons, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The expected base salary for the role will generally be between $80,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment, but the final salary offered may be outside this range based on these reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, base salary is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses, alternative incentive packages and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
