Job Title: Batch Maker - First Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Batch Maker to join our team, Monday through Friday. This role involves reviewing assigned formulas for chemical and packaging requirements, ensuring the proper sequence of reactions and mixing. The position requires completing assigned batches within the allotted time frame and ensuring quality throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Review assigned formulas for chemical and packaging requirements, ensuring the proper sequence of reactions and mixing.
  • Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients as indicated on the formula.
  • Monitor equipment and observe production throughout the batch process.
  • Package approved batches and label all finished product containers.
  • Stock supplies and label containers of raw materials as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Clean, sanitize, and inspect tools, pumps, tanks, pipelines, and other equipment.
  • Complete end-of-day procedures, including restocking raw materials, housekeeping, and controlling and documenting waste.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a mixer, blender, batch maker, or machine operator.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Experience in batch mixing.
