Full time position delivering within the Metropolitan Phoenix area along with stores located within the State of Arizona.

Bashas' CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Driver is responsible for the efficient transportation of products to Bashas' Family of Stores which includes A.J.'s Fine Foods, Bashas' and Food City Stores locally and out of town with a 3:00 p.m. start time.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Observe and support all transportation department, retail stores and Bashas' company policies and procedures.
  • Unload or assist in unloading freight as required.
  • Properly secure loads and assure loads are within weight limits.
  • Responsible for meeting all D.O.T. requirements.
  • Operate truck and trailer units in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems and defects to the Maintenance Department.
  • Comply with all state, local and national Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a good driving record.
  • Reinforce the Bashas' high standards of customer service by consistently delivering orders on time and in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned by management

Driver Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • 1 years "recent and/or current" verifiable Semi Truck CDL driving experience
  • No DUI \ DWI within past 7-years
  • No more than one moving violation, no suspensions or at-fault accidents within the last three years
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screen
  • Live within 50 miles of Chandler, AZ

Ability to:
  • Work and communicate professionally and courteously with fellow team members, supervisors and retail store team members.
  • Lift and shift up to 70 pounds.
  • Read instruction manuals and company policies and procedures documents.
