Job description

Job Description
Job Description

Most welding jobs put you in a shop running the same bead on the same part all day. This one puts you in and under residential homes, fabricating and installing the structural steel that makes a basement conversion possible. You will know exactly what you built and exactly what it is holding up. That is not something you get from a production floor.

What we do

We help families grow in place, converting crawl spaces into full basements and opening the structural possibilities most contractors will not touch.

We are a residential construction company in Marietta specializing in excavation and structural work that requires real precision. The steel we install is not decorative. It is load-bearing, and the families living above it are counting on it being right. That is the standard we hold and the standard we hire for.

What you will do

  • Fabricate and install structural steel on residential job sites throughout Greater Atlanta
  • Read and work from structural plans and specifications
  • Weld to code on load-bearing applications where precision is non-negotiable
  • Work alongside excavation crew members on active basement conversion projects
  • Maintain a clean, safe job site and flag anything that does not look right

Who does well here

You are

  • Certified and confident in your work
  • Detail-oriented on structural applications
  • Reliable, on time, and ready to work
  • A team player who communicates when something is off
  • Someone who takes pride in work that has to be right

Bonus if you have

  • Experience in residential or structural applications
  • Ability to read structural drawings
  • Spanish or English bilingual skills
  • Experience working in confined or below-grade spaces

What you will earn

$18 to $24 per hour

Where you land in that range depends on your certification, experience, and what you bring on day one. There is room to grow as you grow with the team.

Overtime available | Project bonuses | Steady year-round work | Room to grow

If you are a certified welder who takes structural work seriously and wants to see the direct result of what you build, we want to meet you.

Spanish and English bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. We are a crew that pushes each other to do good work and takes care of the people who show up and do it right.

Company Description

We are a residential construction company in Marietta, GA that does the structural work most contractors walk away from: crawl space excavations, basement conversions, and the steel that holds it all together. Our motto is "Resist Mediocrity and Build Cool Sh**." That is not a tagline. It is how we hire, how we work, and how we hold each other accountable every day on the job site.
