As the Apprentice Bartender, you play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Beverage Department by ensuring bar areas are well-stocked, clean, and guest-ready. You assist bartenders and other beverage staff while learning core functions of responsible beverage service. Your attention to cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork directly contributes to a high-quality guest experience and smooth department performance.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
  • Clean and sanitize assigned beverage stations and maintain cleanliness of bar tops, equipment, and any other areas assigned by management
  • Stock consumable and non-consumable bar supplies, including garnishes and glassware
  • Assist bartenders with service and preparation while learning responsible beverage handling
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and follow proper procedures for liquor handling
  • Follow all applicable cash handling procedures and InfoGenesis POS protocols
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 6 months of apprentice bartender experience and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
