As a seasonal bartender, you perform all bartending responsibilities during the busy season when additional help is necessary. You may be asked to prepare beverages, mix drinks, upsell products, talk with customers, and serve alcohol. Your duties can take place at a bar, or you may travel and bartend for catering events. Bartenders also check inventory, stock alcohol and mixers, collect payment from customers, and perform set up and clean up for the bar. A seasonal bartender position is a temporary job, but some employers may rehire you for the next season.
