Job description

Columbus Distributing Company is a family-owned sales and service corporation distributing Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, craft, and imported beers in Franklin County.
  • Deliver, assemble, and refill product displays (beer) in accounts (grocery, gas stations, bars, etc.)
  • Build relationships with accounts, listen to needs, and follow up.
  • Place and ensure appropriate signage on displays, cooler doors, etc.
  • Rotate products in sales areas and backstock to eliminate outdated products.
  • Breakdown bulk driver deliveries to purposefully manage backroom account inventory.
  • Attend sales meetings and seminars to take advantage of incremental selling opportunities.
  • Move products with a two-wheeled hand cart and keep the work area clean and safe.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record and maintain auto insurance coverage of at least the minimum required by state law and company guidance.
  • Previous beverage industry sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must have a cell phone with data capability (reimbursement allowance provided).
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays in order to accommodate business needs.
  • Able to lift 30 lbs. from overhead to floor and lift kegs (up to 170 lbs.)
