Job description

Utility Bar Porter
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  2. Follow all Health Department guidelines.
  3. Follow all Safety guidelines for lifting and using hazardous chemicals.
  4. Report any safety issues, repairs needed or suggestions.

Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Kings bar, Palace bar, Hugo's bar and the Shooter bar, floors and floor mats are cleaned nightly.
  2. Cocktail Server's station, floors and floor mats are cleaned nightly.
  3. All floor drains to be cleaned.
  4. Trash cans to be cleaned.
  5. Shrimp room floor, floor drains and inside the walk in cooler to be cleaned.
  6. The gun room trash to be emptied and cleaned.

Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Hugo's bar: All bottles and shelves including the speed racks to be cleaned and dusted.
  2. Display cases to be kept clean and dusted.
  3. Gun rooms to be trash free, floors mopped and racks kept clean.
  4. Ice Machines need a deep cleaning (to be scheduled with engineering). Check chemicals on glass washers nightly.
  5. Other duties may be assigned by the MOD.

Working conditions:
  1. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels.
  2. Must work calmly during stressful times (increases in business volume)
  3. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  4. Must be able to work indoors/outdoors and may work in unusually hot, cold, noisy areas and steam.
