General Summary of Job Duties: Bar Porter is responsible for ensuring that the beverage bar is maintained, cleaned, and stocked with supplies. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service and maintain cleanliness of the beverage bar and the surrounding area, in addition to assisting with inventory management and ensuring that the bar area is both well-organized and visually appealing.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, and other bar appliances.
  • Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who approach the bar.
  • Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request.
  • Processes all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately, while presenting customer with bar receipt.
  • Maintain correspondence with Bartender and Apprentice Bartender.
  • Transports bar products from warehouse to bar outlet, which is not limited to beer kegs.
  • Provides courteous and courteous service to internal and external guests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
