Set up and keep breakfast/salad bar stocked at all times, keep bar and work area neat and clean, show proper courtesy to customers
Overview of Tasks:
Set up cold and hot food bar according to diagram, set up back up bar and salad bar box, restock items on bar, wash soiled pans and utensils, maintain a clean bar and back up bar, show proper courtesy to customers, change breakfast bar over to salad bar at designated times, put products in clean containers, fill, cover, and date product, organize back up area, follow all rules and regulations set by Shoney's.
Essential Job Functions:
Visual, auditory, hand dexterity, full body mobility, basic reading/language skill, coordination, able to follow instructions, must be able to lift 25 pounds, hand/eye coordination must have sanitary work habits, must be able to work with knives and other sharp objects, must be able to carry hot items such as soups and gravies, must be able to work around steam, and have phone etiquette.
DESCRIPTION OF MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT & WORK AIDS USED:
Wells refrigerated unit, crocks, plates, bowls, spoons, Delafield back up bar unit, plate freezer, food film, Henny Penny holding unit, ice scoop, Delafield soup well unit, utensils, Lexan pans, chemicals, walk-in freezer and cooler, food products, plastic bags, lettuce chopper, metal insert pan, controls for refrigeration
