Job description

About the Role:

As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve a variety of beverages, ensuring that each drink meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will also engage with customers, providing exceptional service and building rapport to enhance their overall experience. In addition to mixing drinks, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization at the bar, managing inventory, and adhering to safety and health regulations. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the success of our establishment and the satisfaction of our patrons.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, such as kegs and cases of beverages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail pairings.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders and making recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the bar is well-stocked.

  • Demonstrate accuracy in all cash handling procedures

Benefits:

• Paid time off, 1 hour per every 40 hours worked up to year 3; 1.54 hours per every 40 hours worked thereafter; eligible after 90 days.

• Holiday Pay: Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day paid 1.5 times base wage if worked, based on eligibility.
