Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, Servers are extremely knowledgeable about all food and beverage items in the restaurant. By adhering to the steps of service they answer questions, provide recommendations and create a positive guest experience. Servers maintain a clean section and monitor food quality to ensure all items are held to O&B presentation standards. Through knowledge, accuracy and efficiency our servers provide the upmost satisfaction to our guests.

  • Posséder une excellente connaissance de tous les aliments et boissons afin de formuler des recommandations adaptées.
  • Répondre aux questions concernant les plats, les boissons, les vins ainsi que les autres services et activités du restaurant.
  • Utiliser la prise de commandes par numéro de siège afin d'assurer une livraison précise des plats, sans avoir à demander à qui ils sont destinés. 
  • Veiller à l'exactitude des commandes saisies dans le système de point de vente (POS).
  • Surveiller la qualité des plats et le respect des normes de présentation.
  • S'assurer que les clients sont satisfaits de leur repas et du service reçu.
  • Répondre rapidement et avec courtoisie à toute demande ou préoccupation des clients.
  • Maintenir la propreté de sa section et s'assurer que toutes les surfaces et le matériel sont propres, organisés et exempts d'encombrement.
  • Connaître parfaitement les causes de contamination des aliments ainsi que les méthodes de prévention. Respecter toutes les normes et procédures en matière de salubrité et de sécurité alimentaire.
  • Être attentif à toute demande particulière des clients, notamment en ce qui concerne les allergies alimentaires. Effectuer efficacement et en toute sécurité les tâches d'ouverture, de fermeture et les tâches connexes.  Exécuter toute autre tâche connexe assignée ou requise.

The Day to Day:

  • Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
  • Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendations
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services
  • Utilize seat-specific ordering so to not auction food when it is delivered to the table
  • Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern
  • Monitor the cleanliness of section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the causes of food contamination and the methods of prevention
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems
  • Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
  • Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
  • Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience comme serveur ou serveuse dans un environnement similaire.
  • Bilingue en Français et Anglais
  • Grand souci du détail et engagement envers l’exactitude et la constance.
  • Capacité à demeurer calme, professionnel(le) et efficace dans un environnement dynamique et au rythme soutenu.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et capacité démontrée à contribuer aux ventes.
  • Capacité éprouvée à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément et à établir les priorités efficacement. - Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite.
  • Excellente connaissance des aliments, des boissons et des produits de restauration.
  • Capacité à maintenir un haut niveau d’efficacité, de professionnalisme et de dynamisme tout au long du quart de travail.
  • Disponibilité flexible, y compris les fins de semaine et les jours fériés, selon les besoins.

  • Être légalement autorisé(e) à travailler au Canada.
  • Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a similar environment
  • Fluent in French and English
