Job description

Job Title- Python developer

Project Location – 3 days onsite in a week in Jersey City, NJ

Duration- 12+ months contract

Looking for either a strong experienced Python developer with at least 10 years + of experience. The person should be a team player and work well with others. We do not one someone who just development we want a strong all-rounder who is not afraid to get into all areas of the software life cycle such as analysis and prod developments.

This role is working on the Finance Re-Design (FRD) and Finance Reg Reporting (FRR) projects.
FRD is a well-established project which has been built out over the past 8 years and FRR over the past 2 years.
FRR is a greenfield project which aims to create a reconciliation and adjustment capability between the bank’s ledger and an upstream ADS which is going to be used for regulatory reporting.
FRD is looking to re-configure an upstream data source into a new strategic platform and onboard more users.
Development teams are located globally with resources in India, Dublin and London with a new team being created in New York to provide global development coverage for an additional dev capacity.
The project is currently in the process of moving from a bank proprietary database to a new Oracle Exadata rack.
